Michael means business

The standard of the boys' presentations and their knowledge of current trends impressed adjudicators.

KEARSNEY College held its annual Grade 9 Businessman of the Year dinner awards recently.

Michael Whitehouse received the coveted Businessman of the Year and ‘Sleepy Sods’, comprising of Christopher Clark, Joshua Hagemann, Stuart McCleave and Luc Schimper, were the group winners.

Guest adjudicator Robin Lockhart-Ross said he was impressed with the standard of the boys’ presentations and their knowledge of current trends.

At the beginning of the year the entire grade was divided into companies, and each company was tasked with producing a unique product of their choice, together with a business plan.
