Buy plants from SANA registered nurseries and help the Sunflower Fund

Avid gardeners can buy their plants at a reduced price while helping charity.

DUE to the overwhelming success of The Sunflower Fund’s Pink Pot Promotion over the last four years, SANA (South African Nursery Association) has now introduced the ‘Share & Save’ Promotion where customers can save up to 30 per cent on selected plants at participating nurseries.
The promotion runs until 30 June. Look out for the Sunflower Stickers on selected plants as well as the ‘Share & Save’ signage or to find out which Nurseries and Builders Express Outlets are taking part in the campaign, contact The Sunflower Fund office on 031 266 1148.

“The promotion is doing very well and all nurseries belonging to SANA will be taking part in the ‘Share & Save’ Promotion,” said Dianne Olejniczak, owner of The Plant and Flowers Garden Centre in Botha’s Hill. “We are very excited that all proceeds will be going to The Sunflower Fund.”

The Sunflower Fund is a non-profit organisation whose sole purpose is to educate and recruit a viable source of well-informed potential bone marrow stem cell donors who are ethnically diverse, in an effort to save the lives of those needing a transplant. The more donors on the registry, the more hope patients suffering with leukaemia and other life threatening blood disorders have of finding their 1:100 000 donor match.
