Acutts Drive closed for three months
The road will be closed from 30 June for the next three months.

MOTORISTS can expect traffic delays or find an alternate route, as Acutts Drive in Hillcrest will be closed for three months starting Monday 30 June.
According to Ward 10 councillor, Rick Crouch, eThekwini Water Construction will be commencing the relaying of water mains project in Acutts Drive on Monday 30 June. The project is expected to last for three months.
“The water pipe will be laid down the centre of Acutts Drive and because of that, Acutts Drive will be completely closed from Crowned Eagle Crescent to Hillside Road for the entire three months. There will be no traffic permitted,” said Crouch.
Construction workers will be using stop and go signs to control traffic where necessary in other parts of Acutts Drive. Health and safety is a priority and it will be extremely hazardous to have traffic movement while working on this section of the road.
