Reward offered for safe return of beloved dog
Please help locate missing dog, Jasper.
A reward is being offered for the safe return of Jasper, an old wire-haired terrier cross, who went missing from Chester Terrace, Westville late on Tuesday, 1 July.
His distraught owner and her family have been desperately searching for him since his disappearance but despite visits to the Westville Veterinary Hospital and the Kloof and Highway SPCA and Durban SPCA, there has been no sign of the beloved pet.
He is a small, black male dog with grey whiskers around his face and a reddish-brown tinge to his ruff, (neck). He does not have a collar or microchip.
Jasper is new to the area, having been at the property for a couple of weeks after his owner moved to a property that couldn’t accomodate him and left him in the care of her grandfather.
“He had been here for two to three weeks and seemed very happy with my three other dogs. We would be grateful if anybody has seen or heard of his whereabouts. A reward of R 1000 is offered for Jasper’s recovery,” said Dave Turner, grandfather of Japer’s owner.
Anyone with information can contact Dave on 082 458 1724.
