A MAN is in critical condition after he was hit by a car on Old Main Road in Botha Hill near Hillcrest this morning.
According to Russel Meiring, media spokesman for ER24, the paramedics found a man in his thirties lying in the road and a small crowd had gathered around him.
“The man was assessed and had serious injuries to his legs and back. Metro services had to close two lanes of the road to allow paramedics a safe area to work,” said Meiring.

He noted that the SAPS were on scene and will investigate the cause of the accident.
