Friday is slipper day

Buy a slipper stick for R10 and wear your slippers to work on Friday to support a good cause.

JOIN The International Hotel School as they reach for their snuggly slippers on Friday 1 August.

This is part of the “Reach for your slippers” campaign driven by Reach for a Dream, The International Hotel School’s chosen charity for the year.

This Friday people can wear their slippers to work to support this good cause.

PR and Media Marketing Consultant, Steven Brown said, Reach for a Dream believes in the power of dreams and encourages children to use their dreams to fight life-threatening illnesses.

“Through fundraising projects such as “Reach for your slippers” campaign, the organization seeks to inform as many people as possible to make dreams come true,” he said.

IHS has encouraged all their pupils to get involved in this good cause and buy a R10 Slipper Sticker from their on campus Student Representative Council or their nearest Wimpy, Makro or Hirsch’s store.

“They will also be doing something extra at each of the campuses nationally, to raise funds for the cause over and above the R10 collected from the stickers,” said Brown.
