Paws up for fundraiser

THE Sunflower Fund will host a Bandana Doggy Fun Walk at the Westville Civic Centre, 1 William Lester Drive in Westville, on Saturday 25 October from 8am.

Registration is from 8am to 9am, and the walk will take place between 9am and 11am. Highway residents are encouraged to take along their dogs to take part in the walk for a good cause. Only socialised dogs on leashes will be allowed and each dog entry includes a free bandana. Cost per person, which includes your dog, is R50.

All of the proceeds will go to the Sunflower Fund to give people diagnosed with life threatening blood disorders hope of finding their life-saving donor match. Contact Allison Naidoo on 031 266 1148 or email allison@sunflowerfund.org.za.
