Hillcrest SAPS seek next of kin

Hillcrest detectives are searching for Bheshwana Mhlongo's relatives.

HILLCREST detectives are desperately trying to locate the next of kin of a man that was found in the Mgoqozi area, KwaNyuswa, Botha’s Hill.

It is alleged that on Saturday, 11 November, police responded to a sudden death complaint in KwaNyuswa.

“Upon arrival they found a dead man lying behind the house. He was dressed in a brown cotton shirt and navy trousers. He was later identified as Bheshwana Mhlongo,” said Hillcrest SAPS communications officer, Cst Ndumiso Manqele.

According to information received from the neighbours, Mhlongo was last seen on Monday, 6 October and he was staying alone in the house.

“Upon examining the body of the deceased, police could not find any visible injuries. The door to the house was open and police did not suspect any foul play.

“The deceased was taken to the Pinetown mortuary and the cause of death will be established after the post mortem has been conducted,” added Manqele.

The deceased is originally from the KwaMaphumulo area, but was staying in KwaNyuswa to be close to his work.

The police are appealing to anyone who may provide information related to the deceased’s next of kin to contact Det/Sgt N P Ngema on 082 826 8076 or 031 765 9140.
