Rotary hosts golf day for a worthy cause
THE Rotary Club of Inchanga – a 1000 Hills held a charity golf day fundraiser
THE Rotary Club of Inchanga – a 1000 Hills held a charity golf day fundraiser last Friday at Camelot.
This was the rotary’s third golf day this year.
There were 30 golfers who took part for this worthy cause. The money that was raised will be distributed to five organisations; 1000 Hills community helpers, Fulton School for the Deaf, Careline Crisis Centre, Rescuetech and Kwabazothini High School.
Mark Easton from Rescuetech received a cheque for R7197 at the prizegiving.
The club’s president, Garth Middleton, said they were very grateful to all the people who made the day a success. “I would also like to thank all the sponsors that provided us with prizes for the golfers,” he said.
