WBHS wins squash Super 8 league
WBHS are looking forward to a successful year of squash.
WESTVILLE Boys’ High School’s squash season started on a high note this year when they beat all the schools competing in the Super 8 Squash League. This is the first time that WBHSe have won the Super 8 Squash League and with such a good start to the squash season. The team are determined to win the KZN Schools’ Squash championships next term. Last year Westville finished second after losing to Glenwood in the final.
With such an excellent start, WBHS are looking forward to a successful year of squash.
The results were: Westville 8 St Charles 0, Westville 6 Maritzburg College 2, Westville 7 Glenwood 1, Westville 8 Hilton 0, Westville 6 Michaelhouse 2 and Westville 5 Kearsney 3.
Westville’s squash team members comprises Rhys Ramdas, Ant Montgomery, Jeremy Nelson (captain), Devan Allsopp, Luke Bakke, Tahiel Sunker, Luke Montgomery, Deelan Vanmari with reserves Jarred Ford and Robert Moody.
