Five new movies will hit cinemas in the Highway area this weekend.

Fifty Shades Darker

Ana Steele is wounded after her break up with the enigmatic billionaire, Christian Grey. His attempts to get her back into his life will only work if he agrees to her new ‘no rules’ policy. Their relationship begins to bloom once again but Christian’s past catches up with him.

 

Moonlight
Run time: 1hr 51min

Moonlight is easily described as a groundbreaking film that focuses on a contemporary African American life covering identity, family, friendship and love.

 

The State vs Jolly LL.B 2

The film is slated as a satirical black comedy-drama that follows the life of Jagdishwar, a lawyer who goes up against another ruthless lawyer in India.

 

The LEGO Batman Movie

Run time: 1hr 45min

The Joker is taking over Gotham and it’s up to Batman and his super side-kick buddy, Robin, to save the day in the beautifully crafted Lego world.

 

Denial

Run time: 1hr 49min

The film is based on the book History on Trial: My Day in Court with a Holocaust Denier. It follows university professor Deborah E. Lipstad as she goes to-to-toe with World War II historian, David Irving to prove the Holocaust occurred.
