Star College embraces the spirit of giving

Nelson Mandela International Day 2018 marked 100 years since the birth of Nelson Mandela (18 July 1918). The Centenary is an occasion to reflect on his life and legacy, and to follow his call to 'make of the world a better place'.

The Star College Girls’ High Outreach team started term three with the spirit of giving in true Mandela style. The girls collected baby nappies and wheelchairs and will distribute them where needed. The girls observed the 67 minutes by sorting and packing the nappies. Tasmika Naidoo, Krithi Panday, Ntsikelelo Kumalo and Nusrat Khan with some of the nappies and a wheelchair.
