TMC learners do laps for those in need

Thomas More College learners laced up and walked countless laps to raise funds for their school's outreach projects.

THOMAS More College’s (TMC) annual sponsored walk will be one to remember as its learners completed more laps than ever before.

The TMC community rallied together, from parent lap counters, to admin staff in the tuck shops, moms in the coffee shop, class teachers cheering children on along the route and counting laps while grounds, maintenance, kitchen and functions staff went the extra mile.

The cherry on top was the East Coast Breakfast team broadcasting live from the campus. The school hopes to top the R191 000 raised at last year’s event.

“The main purpose of the day is outreach fundraising. Thank you TMC family for reaching out and giving to those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Our hearts are full,” said the school’s admissions and marketing co-ordinator, Juliet Hartley.
