Fund-raiser for Jes Foord Foundation exceeds expectations
A whopping R224 500 was raised for the foundation.
THE fifth annual golf day hosted in support of the Jes Foord Foundation recently exceeded expectations with a whopping R224 500 raised for the foundation.
“This golf day, which became one of our main fund-raisers, gets better every year and we would like to thank everyone for their support especially the main sponsor, Gareth Jones from Swanlite.
“The money we received was above and beyond what we expected and that was after all the expenses have been paid,” said Jes Foord.
Foord said the money will go towards the foundation’s two campaigns, the awareness programme and free trauma counselling, available in IsiZulu and English.
