First day fun for Gillitts Grade R learners

Each of the children were eager to start their first big day of school.

THIRTY five Grade R learners from Gillitts Primary School were excited to take part in their first day of ‘big’ school.

The group of eager children are the first children to be taught in the school’s brand new, state-of-the-art classroom.

Arti Jadoo, the school’s principal, said, “It is filled with all of the bells and whistles any little boy or girl could possibly want.”

From colouring in, to making welcome hats, orientation and a movie, the learners had an absolute blast on their first day of school.
