Kainon learners share love for reading

The donation was made to commemorate Childhood Cancer Awareness Day.

Childhood Cancer Awareness Day was on Saturday, 15 February was and to commemorate the day, learners from Kainon School donated more than 300 books.

Learners made and painted a mobile bookshelf on Friday, 14 February for the children with cancer.

The books will be delivered to Parklands Paediatric Hospital. Fiona Oldacre, Harper Pretorius, Nina Pretorius and Jane Edmunds (principal) with some of the donated books.
