Popular Shongweni Farmers and Craft Market reopens
After months of shutdown due to the nationwide lockdown, the Shongweni Farmers and Craft Market has officially reopened.
DURBANITES flocked to the Shongweni Farmers and Craft Market at the weekend as, after months of closure due to the nationwide Covid-19 lockdown, it officially opened its doors to the public once again.
Visitors were greeted with a new walking trail and a miniature train for the little ones, to a spaced out food venue that was jam-packed with delicious eats, there was literally something for everyone at the popular Upper Highway market.

“Come rain or shine, the market will be open each Saturday between 6.30am to 12.30pm from Saturday, 5 September and families, along with their pets, are invited,” said the market administrator, Donnee Murray.
