7 injured in Shongweni truck collision

The truck rolled down an embankment after colliding with five vehicles.

SEVEN people were injured when a truck collided with five vehicles on the N3, near Shongweni, on Thursday afternoon (20 May). Shawn Herbst, from Netcare 911, said the collision resulted in the truck rolling down an embankment.

“Seven people, including the driver of the truck, sustained moderate injuries and were treated on scene before being transported to hospital,” said Herbst.
