TO highlight the hard work done by paramedics throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Kloof Pre-Primary School (KPP) chose to celebrate the chosen heroes as their organisation of choice for the second term.
“We wanted to do something small to thank the wonderful paramedics in our surrounding area for all they continue to do for our community,” said the school’s principal, Sally Comins. “Thank you to all the frontline workers out there. We appreciate you!”

To honour the unsung heroes, the learners and staff at Kloof Pre-Primary dressed up as their favourite superhero and brought in items to fill care packs, which were distributed over a few days.
One of the recipients of the packages was the local Meditec team.
“Thank you KPP for the great idea and support. A simple thank you goes a long way to any first responder. It makes the job well worth it in the end,” said Meditec’s Derrick Banks.
