The ill dog escaped from her new home in Berea West, a few days after she was rescued by John Makrinos.

According to Makrinos, Astrid has a rare medical condition and needs to be given her medication urgently.

“This is her second escape since I brought her home on Thursday. After taking her to a vet, it was clear she needed urgent surgery and was booked in for Monday,” said Makrinos.

Makrinos is desperate to have Astrid back and has offered a R1000 reward for her safe return.

If you have information regarding the whereabouts of the missing dog, contact John Makrinos on 082 371 2074.
