I am a fun-loving, outgoing foodie who has a passion for writing and communicating.
HI there! Sherri-Lee Jacob here and I am the new journalist at the Highway Mail.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in corporate communications degree as well as a Bachelor of Arts honours in communications. I started my position in March and its been a rollercoaster of experiences ever since.
I strived to become a journalist because it fits perfectly with my extroverted personality, I enjoy writing, communicating and meeting new people. It’s part of my identity.
A career in journalism allows me to publicise the beauty of someone else’s life by giving credit where it is deserved. Being a journalist satisfies a desire to live a fascinating life and, to contribute to the public good and to impact public perceptions of important people, places, things and events. Although I am still learning I look forward to creating new experiences.
