Make an appointment to meet with Pinetown SAPS station commander
The Pinetown Police Station is opening up its doors to the public for suggestions on how to provide better service delivery.
TO ensure that they prioritise service delivery, Pinetown SAPS is giving everyone the opportunity to meet the station commander, Brigadier Leon Matthysen.
With this initiative, the station hopes that it will help the police and the community come together, sharing their views and concerns.
“Whether positive or negative, let us contribute to making our community and streets safe.

“This is also an opportunity for businesses, recreational establishments, security companies, religious organisations, the medical fraternity, schools, old age institutions, establishments providing social services and residents alike to participate in this venture,” said the station’s communications officer, Jennifer Naidu.
The aim is to accommodate the public although she said they may not be able to visit everyone. “Visits will be conducted based on the urgency and information received.”
Naidu urged people to make the best of this platform and the opportunity they are given and motivate a reason to meet the station commander.
They will be visiting the following places along their patrol areas: Pinetown, New Germany, Nazareth, Westmead, Sarnia, Farningham Ridge, Caversham, Ashley, Cowies Hill, Wyebank, Motala Farm, Kloof, Mariannhill Park and Marian Industrial Park.

To set up a meeting, email BuckhamS@saps.gov.za or contact the secretary, Sarah Buckham, on 031 325 5074, from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 15:00.
People can also go to Room 106 on the first floor of the station to see the station commander’s secretary.
Alternatively, write a letter and put it in the suggestion box, which is confidential as only Naidu has access to it.
