WATCH | Best of Durban is back for the 2024 edition

LAST year we exceeded all expectations with our Best of Durban competition where 115 000 nominations were received as you stepped up to vote for your favourite businesses.

Now we to do it all again and the plan, with your help of course, is to knock your socks off. While the ‘Best of’ campaign has been running for the past 28 years across Caxton Local Media titles, predominantly in Gauteng, this was only the third year for the Durban branch but boy did you surprise us with your eagerness to illuminate your businesses.

You all had so much to say about which businesses you thought ranked as number one but luckily we start with your nominations and then your votes – so you, our loyal readers are the decision makers.

Word of caution Best of Durban fans: Long after the closing date last year we were inundated with calls from shoppers wanting to nominate their favoured business. Unfortunately when the competition is closed, it’s closed. We follow the rules to a tee – from how many times a person can vote to when the cut-off date is.

So keep your eyes peeled so that you don’t miss the all-important dates. Saddle up, follow our social media pages, read our papers and don’t miss your chance to have your exceptional business placed on a pedestal, where it belongs.
