Gillitts Primary School to receive its own school hall

Gillitts Primary School is proud to announce the building of their school hall.

IN a significant step toward rebuilding their community, Gillitts Primary School is set to have its own school hall, constructed by Elangeni Buildings. After more than 70 years of teaching and learning, students will finally have the opportunity to assemble in a dedicated space on the school’s premises.

This long-awaited development follows the construction of new classrooms and the completion of several other improvement projects. School principal Arti Jadoo expressed her excitement: “Seeing this project come to life has been truly amazing and inspiring. Our vision and motivation have been strengthened by the support of numerous sponsors and well-wishers.”

The R2.5 million project has been generously supported by Brett Latimer of Oxford Freshmarket, along with the Kloof Country Club Ladies Golfers, who contributed R100 000 toward the construction of the hall.
