For Teresa Seaton, director of Worldwide Tax Solutions in Kloof, tax is more than a profession – it is a lifelong passion shaped by experience, resilience and a people-first approach. A Master Tax Practitioner, Chartered Tax Advisor and Professional Accountant, she leads a practice that has supported individuals and businesses for over two decades.
Seaton’s journey began at SARS in 1992, sparking an interest that would later evolve into her own business. In 2004, she started Worldwide Tax Solutions from her dining room with just one client. Today, the company has grown into a multi-division operation with 10 staff members, international reach, and continued expansion, including a new division launched in 2026.
Day to day, the work extends far beyond tax returns. The team provides ongoing financial oversight, manages audits and offers strategic guidance – building long-term partnerships rather than once-off transactions. “Tax is not only about numbers; it’s about people,” she said, highlighting the importance of trust and professionalism.
Her career milestones include industry recognition, leadership roles and multiple award nominations, reflecting both growth and credibility.
