Two men killed in N3 collision

The crash involving a light car and a taxi claimed the lives of two men in their twenties.

TWO people were killed in a taxi accident on the N3 Durban-bound near Pavillion early this morning, Saturday, March 2.

ALS Paramedics Medical Services spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said paramedics arrived on the scene on the N3 to find total carnage after a light motor vehicle and a taxi had collided.

“The taxi rolled multiple times coming to rest on its wheels.

“Two men from the taxi, believed to be in their twenties, had sustained major injuries, and there was nothing more paramedics could do for them.”

The two men were declared dead on scene.

SAPS will investigate the cause of the accident.
