WATCH: Worker killed after heavy-duty tow truck crashes into company in Westmead

The men were working at a company in Monte Carlo Road when the heavy-duty tow truck collided into the building.

A WORKER has been killed and another one seriously injured after a tow truck crashed into a company on Monte Carlo Road, Westmead, this afternoon (July 22).

According to ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, the driver of a heavy-duty tow truck, which was towing a fully laden truck, lost control on Monte Carlo Road in Westmead.

“The truck veered off an embankment and crashed into a company.

“The truck driver was found to have sustained serious injuries. Two workers were found pinned under the total carnage of the truck.

One worker died at the scene, and the other is seriously injured.
