Waterfall College celebrates academics
The school says top academic honours went to Jorja Hewison (Dux) and Grace Reynolds (Proxime Accessit to Dux).
THE Waterfall College community recently gathered to celebrate another successful academic year and to bid farewell to the Class of 2025.
The day was filled with pride, celebration and a few tears as the achievements of the Matric class were recognised.
The guest speaker, Sbusisiwe Myeni, a successful entrepreneur and businesswoman, shared an inspiring message about the power of education and determination.
As the founder of the Imbeleko Foundation, she helps young people reach their full potential through quality education, digital learning, mentorship and emotional support. Her work is not only changing lives but also helping to break the cycle of poverty.

Principal Bryony Green expressed how proud she was of the Class of 2025 and how far they have come during their school journey.
“I commend you all class of 2025 for your perseverance, maturity and quiet strength, as well as the kindness and humility shown by each one of you,” said Green.
A moving performance of I Was Here by Beyoncé, sung by the school choir, beautifully captured the spirit of the day — reminding the matriculants to go out and make their mark on the world.
Top academic honours went to Jorja Hewison (Dux) and Grace Reynolds (Proxime Accessit to Dux), alongside many awards recognising excellence in academics and service.
