Forest View Grade 3 learner wins chess tourney

The school says Noah Zwart is very humble and demonstrates a kind and gentle nature that attracts friends.

GRADE Three Forest View Primary School learner Noah Zwart recently won the South African Christian Schools Sports Association national chess tournament at the Destiny Christian Academy in Johannesburg.

Competing in the U9 age group, Noah came out on top with a perfect score of six wins out of six games.

Noah qualified for the national tournament after winning the regional round at Impact Christian Academy in KZN.

The school described Noah as a friendly child who is popular amongst his peers.

“He is very humble and demonstrates a kind and gentle nature that attracts friends. He loves a challenge, as well as to challenge others. He is an excellent mathematician and enjoys doing brain puzzles.

“Well done, Noah! Your hard work and skill paid off with an incredible win in the U9 chess tournament. Keep challenging!”
