JOIN Cliffie’s Crew in a relaxed garden atmosphere with beautiful views and fresh country air right on your doorstep, listening to live ’80s music to raise funds for charity.
The garden picnic will take place on Sunday, April 26, from 12:00 until 17:00 at 3 Duiker Drive, Drummond.
Cliffie’s Crew is a registered NPO that works in the Cliffdale area helping the less fortunate to look after their pets.
Started by a dedicated animal lover, Wendy Smith said she saw a dire situation in the Cliffdale area and instead of turning a blind eye, she dived in to help where she could.

To date Smith has been involved in helping pet owners look after their dogs and cats, and has helped in more than 700 sterilisations of pets to prevent unwanted litters.
She runs a care programme if pets are injured or sick, helps with raising funds to provide families with at least one good meal a day for their pets, and oversees necessary vaccinations. All this requires time, dedication and finance.
There will be live music by Lance Goldman and the Sandy Elle band. Bring a blanket or chairs.
Craft beer and other beverages will be available as well as barista coffee for the late afternoon.
“The guests can also bring an old blanket, a second-hand blanket, a new cheap blanket, using it for the picnic and then donating it afterwards to the pets of Cliffdale.
“As winter is around the corner they would be very grateful for the warmth. There is an amazing auction of beautiful items to raise funds too,” said Smith.
Tickets are limited due to the venue size; contact Wendy Smith on 083 256 1516 to book your space.
