Wild cat conservation takes centre stage at Kloof SPCA meeting
Tristan Dickerson, founder of Panthera’s Furs For Life Programme, will speak about wild cat conservation at the meeting.
THE next Kloof and Highway SPCA Golden Paws meeting takes place on Wednesday, September 9, at 10:00 at the SPCA’s boardroom.
Brigitte Ferguson said they are thrilled to welcome Tristan Dickerson, founder of the Furs For Life Programme with Panthera, the globally renowned organisation dedicated to the conservation of wild cats.

“For more than 20 years, Panthera has been a leading force in wild cat conservation, working to protect and preserve the world’s 40 wild cat species through groundbreaking research, partnerships, and conservation initiatives across the globe,” said the Kloof SPCA’s Ferguson.
She said the public will learn more about the inspiring Furs For Life Programme, hear about Panthera’s incredible work, and enjoy captivating stories from Dickerson’s experiences working alongside some of the world’s most magnificent big cats.
“Attendees will also discover the great work being done to protect wild cat species around the world and hear firsthand stories from experiences working in the world of big cat conservation.”
