Gillitts mom takes third place in worlds bikini fitness
The world championships were held recently in Pretoria.

ROXANNE Clarke from Gillitts came third in the world in the over-30 bikini model section in the recent World Fitness Federation (WFF) worlds competition in Pretoria.
She was selected to represent SA after winning the beach bikini over 1.63m category and was the overall SA bikini champ for 2015 in the National Amateur Body-Builders’ Association (NABBA) nationals.
Dressed in her South African tracksuit at the opening ceremony for the event, in which 24 countries competed, was an amazing experience for Roxy, who said she found it very emotional, especially when they sang the national anthem.
Despite an extremely long day, with her final appearance on stage around 11pm, she said it was definitely a good experience and a great learning curve.
Her success in the sport as caught the eye of international sponsor, Species Nutrition from America, which will be sponsoring her clothing and supplements.
Her next aim is to get back into the fitness model category after having her daughter, Lilly, eighteen months ago and still breastfeeding, and then compete in the Rossi Classic, which will be held in Pretoria in April 2016.
Her ultimate goal will then be to compete at WFF worlds in Ireland next year.
