Annual sports tourney a close match
Most of the results were closely-contested as Hillcrest High School had eight wins and Kloof High School had nine.

THE temperature may have dropped dramatically due to the cold front moving in, but that didn’t stop pupils, parents and supporters from having a festive time at the annual Hillcrest and Kloof High Derby Day.
The matches kicked off on schedule and were all played in a good spirit throughout the day. Most of the results were closely-contested as Hillcrest High School had eight wins and Kloof High School had nine, and there were three draws.
“A big thanks to all those who helped to make the day such a success, including parents, and of course all the young men and women from Kloof and Hillcrest High Schools who participated in each of the sporting events,” said Hillcrest High School’s sports head, Patrick Windsor. “I would also like to thank all the staff, coaches, umpires, referee’s, spectators and – most importantly – the players who were part of Derby Day 2016.”
