SAMA2022 artist of the year winner assists Gog’Aron Foundation
Gog'Aron Foundation together with Haksul Muziq blessed three schools with sanitary pads and toiletries so as to bring confidence to young girls and boys.
Gog’Aron Foundation and the South African Music Awards 2022 artist of the year Tokoloho Mavuso successfully extended their gracious hand to three local schools on October 27.
The foundation was launched in 2021 to cater for the basic needs of learners.
According to the founder and director of the foundation, Phindile Ntuli, donating sanitary pads and toiletries means restoring the dignity of learners while preventing the humiliation they endure during school hours.
Schools showered with blessings included Eden Ridge High School, Palm Ridge Ext Six Secondary School and Mavis Stimulation Centre for Disability Children.
“I donate to schools to promote the education of girls and boys through attending to their hygiene management. Tokoloho, also known as Haksul Muziq, made sure I go all the way to be where I am today by contributing transportation from one spot to another since he had a broader knowledge about the schools that need toiletries,” said Phindile.
The organisation observed that many boys and girls are experiencing difficulties and it would be a remarkable project if they could connect with them and offer them something meaningful.
“Some young learners miss school because of inadequate living conditions. We donated to Palm Ridge because charity begins at home. We all want to see a change in our communities, be it growth or holding each other’s hands to make it a better environment for all,” Phindile explained.
Muziq told the Alberton Record that he has always been a fan of giving back to people who need help.
“My sincere belief is that God has placed me in this position because of my desire to help others. This opportunity I’ve been given has enabled me to fulfil my purpose of helping individuals on both a professional and personal level,” said Muzig.
