Annual wrestling championships in Benoni

EASTERN Gauteng Wrestling Association will host its annual wrestling championships at John Barrable Hall in Benoni on April 26.

The Eastern Gauteng Open is one of the largest championships on the wrestling calendar and some of the country’s top wrestlers participate each year.

It is also before the junior and cadet Africa Championships from May 16-25 May in Alexandria, Egypt. Cadet and junior wrestlers will take part as part of their preparation for the Africa Championships.
