Blood drive at the Riebies

AS part of Laerskool Van Riebeeck Park’s 30th birthday celebrations this year, one of the school’s classes has organised a blood drive at the school on March 5.

It will take place from 9am to 3pm and they hope to collect 100 units.

Residents are urged to visit the school on the day to help them reach their target.

The donor criteria are: 16 years old and older, weigh 50kg and more, must have eaten in the past four hours, must know blood is safe.
