Canoe provincial trials

THE Gauteng Championships, which are trials to select the Gauteng team for the  SA Marathon Canoe National inter provincial in June,  will take place on May 10 and 11 at Homestead Dam in Benoni.

On Saturday the single canoe (K1) races will take place and the double canoe (K2) races will take place on Sunday.

The first race on each day will begin at 9am for the older paddlers (U/18 and above), and the second one at 11am for the younger participants.

Paddlers from all over the East Rand, including Kempton Park, Germiston, Bedfordview, Boksburg and Springs, will take part.
