Myths, legends and realities of traditional bush medicine

Many old folks’ tales, grandma’s remedies and country legends relate to the real or imagined benefits of natural therapies.

Prof Ben-Erik van Wyk of the University of Johannesburg will take a look at facts and fables surrounding this subject at the evening meeting of Modderfontein Conservation Society on May 15.

The meeting takes place at 19:30 in Modderfontein Town Hall, 1 Casino Road.

Visitors are welcome to attend this meeting and an entrance fee of R30 is charged to help cover expenses.
