Thembalami morning market and family day

Join Thembalami Care Centre for an enjoyable autumn morning outdoors on Saturday, May 31.

The Rand Aid Association-run care Centre in Lombardy East is hosting a family day and fête with stalls selling good second-hand clothing, bric-a-brac, plants, books and a range of items made by residents in the care centre’s occupational therapy department.

There will be a tea garden and vetkoek filled with mince, as well as curry and rice.

The event runs from 8am to 1pm and will allow family members to spend quality time with their loved ones, and for members of the public to enjoy a pleasant morning browsing among the stalls and interacting with the care centre’s residents.
