Trevor Gumbi at Emperors Palace

With a side-splitting line-up of top South African comedians on the bill, Emperors Palace is the place to be for jokes this July.

Leading the charge is the hilarious comedian and actor, Trevor Gumbi, who will be pushing the boundaries past the point of no return on Saturday, July 5.

While Gumbi, a SAFTA nominated actor who is currently on the local drama series Rockville, has most recently spent his time directing and writing for local television shows, comedy has always been his true love.

In fact, he enjoys it so much that he’s gathered some comedian friends for a seven-city tour of South Africa. The first of his shows, featuring the ever popular Celeste Nthuli, Mpho Popps, Chris Mapane and Griff from the USA, takes place at Emperors Palace and promises to be nothing short of hilarious!
