According to Sebenza SAPS spokesman, Const Sharon Mahamba, Delport cited her pregnancy as the reason for her request for the transfer from Johannesburg Prison where she and Fischer are currently in custody.
The pair, accused of murdering well known Cresslawn residents, Mr Leon Sim (71) and his wife Marié, appeared in the High Court for the first time after their case had been moved from Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on June 3.
