A string of house break-ins has been plaguing the Rhodesfield area the past couple of months.
According to residents, it is the same people with the same modus operandi.
One resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, says it is four well-dressed young men in a white bakkie. Two of the men wait outside the residence while the other two enter and loot the house.
The resident, a neighbour of one of the victims, said the men keep constant contact on their cell phones as to make sure everything goes according to plan.
Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesman for Kempton Park SAPS, confirmed that Rhodesfield has had a string of break-ins during recent months. He also said a vehicle which was stolen during a recent housebreaking in Rhodesfield was recovered at Emperors Palace and that one suspect had been arrested.
