Thieves steal custom-made trailer

A factory owner of Pomona is disgusted about the theft of a trailer from their premises.

Annette Hattingh made available CCTV footage on how “easy” this theft was for the thugs.

It happened at about 6.30am on Saturday, November 9 at the factory on Pomona Road. The trailer, manufactured for a customer, was towed away with a white or grey two-tone Mazda double cab bakkie. Hattingh suspected three people were involved. One broke the gate, a second one helped to push it open and the third one drove the bakkie.

“One even lifted his red T-shirt to wipe his fingerprints from the gate, She said.”

Both men visible on the CCTV footage wore red T-shirts.

A reward is offered for information leading to the conviction of the perpetrators and return of the trailer.
