THE man pictured wearing a red top is wanted in connection with a business robbery on December 28.
According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesman, the robbery took place at about 1.30pm when three armed men entered a bed and breakfast establishment, pretending to enquire about a room.
“The receptionist on duty said the men drove a BMW and came into the reception area to enquire about prices for accommodation. After she had given them the prices, they said they would park their vehicle and proceed to check in,” said Mtshali.
The receptionist said when one of the men returned, he started to push the door to gain entry behind the reception counter and produced a firearm.
“The other two returned and the receptionist and her colleague were tied up. The men took their handbags and managed to get away with cell phones and cash,” he said.
Although the police were provided with the registration number of the BMW, police discovered the number was a duplicate.
