Lolly’s alleged killer in court on Monday

Jackson was shot dead at a house in Joan Hunter Street, Edleen on May 3, 2010

GEORGE Louca, the alleged killer of Teazers boss Lolly Jackson, is due to appear in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning.

Louca was extradited to South Africa from Cyprus at the weekend after a court battle of more than three years.

Strict security is expected at the court and media had been arriving at the building from early morning.

Jackson was shot dead at a house in Joan Hunter Street, Edleen on May 3, 2010.

According to the Mail & Guardian the Hawks believe they have a watertight case against Louca.

Hawks spokesman, Paul Ramaloka, confirmed that Louca was brought back to the country on Sunday after a team comprising the South African Police Service’s Crime Intelligence, the Interpol Extradition Team and the department of Justice successfully repatriated him.

Louca fled South Africa after the murder of strip club boss Jackson. He allegedly phoned Gauteng crime intelligence boss Joey Mabasa and confessed to killing Jackson shortly after the murder.

He was wanted by the Hawks in connection with the murder since then.

Louca made several attempts to evade extradition, but he failed when he lost his final appeal in the Cypriot Supreme Court.
