A man and woman, aged 20 and 25 respectively, were arrested on Monday after they were found in possession of two cars which were reported stolen earlier this month.
“Police were patrolling along Partridge Avenue when they were alerted of a house where a Toyota Fortuner and Dodge were parked,” said Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesman.
The officers went to inspect the house and found the two suspects. When the cars were checked, it was discovered the Fortuner was reported stolen in Roodepoort and the Dodge in Honeydew.
“The pair was arrested and will face charges of possession of suspected stolen goods,” he said.
