THIEVES stole cash, digital cameras, cheque books, eight computers and a CCTV recorder at Mooifontein Primary School in the early morning hours of January 19.
Deputy Principal, Gerrie Oosthuizen, said the thieves entered through the roof and used a grinder to cut open the safes in which the items were stored.
He said they had already cancelled the cheque books, but had received information that someone used one of their cheques at a hospital in the Free State after the cheques were cancelled.
Oosthuizen also said a lot of damage was done as the thieves broke the roof, safes, and even doors.
Police are still looking for the suspects.
