The power to Norkem Park, Glen Marais, Allen Grove and Birchleigh will only be fixed at around 10pm tonight (Monday), according to ward councillor Jaco Terblanche.

RESIDENTS of Norkem Park, Glen Marais, Allen Grove and extensions in Birchleigh have been without power since last night.
According to ward councillor Jaco Terblanche, a main feeder substation to these areas has encountered problems since about 11.30pm last night.
He said the municipality had been working through the night and power might return by this afternoon.
Ward councillor Johann Jordaan said the repair time could be 24 to 48 hours.
Terblanche said on Saturday evening cables were stolen in the Glen Marais/ Allen Grove area and the power in Terenure, Van Riebeeck Park and Edleen was switched off for about 50 to 60 minutes as a precautionary measure.
He said on Sunday evening a cable malfunction caused a power outage in Van Riebeeck Park for about three hours.
