POLICE are looking for the man pictured after he and an accomplice managed to escape during an attempted house robbery in Rhodesfield last year December.
“The men broke into the home late at night but were surprised when the victims, who are twin sisters, fought them off,” said Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesman.
The one sister was woken up by a noise in the house. When she went to check where it was coming from, she found her sister in the living room screaming, as she had seen the two intruders.
“She immediately picked up a broom and began to hit the men and one ran out while the other stayed behind. He fought the sisters off and managed to grab one of their purses and tried to run away,” said Mtshali.
The sisters fought with him and grabbed the purse while he hit one with a kettle. One of the twins managed to grab the purse from him before he managed to escape.
