A 42-year-old man was arrested last week Tuesday after he was caught in a house on Pienaar Street during a burglary.
According to Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesman, the man, along with two other suspects, were spotted at around 11.25am by an alert neighbour.
“He phoned his neighbour to enquire whether he had left someone at his house as there were noises coming from the house. The police were summoned and the three suspects were found in the home,” he said.
The police only managed to arrest one of the three suspects.
In another incident the same day, two men, both 27, were arrested in Bonaero Park shortly after they broke into a house on Ford Street.
“The owner of the house left for Boksburg in the morning. He was informed by his security company, CMS, that his alarm had gone off and he returned home to check what had happened,” Mtshali said.When he arrived home, he discovered that the house had been broken into and the burglars had taken his laptop, hard drive and Wi-Fi modem.”CMS officers who had responded to the scene conducted a search in the area and managed to catch two men fleeing from the scene.
